A Day in the LifeThe Surgical Operating Unit (OU) consists of 4 Business Units - Advanced Surgical Technologies (AST), General Surgical Technologies (GST), Robotic Surgical Technologies (RST), and Digital Technologies (DT).

In this dynamic role as a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the project management of marketing initiatives and activities for Product Managers and Disease State Managers.
This includes the organization of congresses, training courses, advisory boards, internal meetings, product launches, and various other events, along with providing on-site support as necessary.
You will work closely with the Surgical Marketing & Sales Force team, as well as collaborate with the Medical Surgical Portfolio and other Medtronic teams, such as broader Commercial, Governmental Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Healthcare Economics, Medical Affairs, and Integrated Healthcare Solutions (IHS).
You will be reporting directly to the Surgical Iberia's Surgical Marketing & Market Development Director.
ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain effective collaborations with suppliers to ensure high-quality event and marketing material production.Be responsible for the inventory of marketing assets (such as promotional and congress items) and for the training equipment (PelviTrainers and Hardware equipment), as well as oversee their storage and maintenance in the Medtronic warehouse in Alcalá de Henares and coordinate their shipments to events.Oversee the content development, design, local adaptation and internal approval of marketing materials, and support local campaigns and digital initiatives when needed.Maintain and update the intranet website (inSIde Sharepoint).Oversee the design and content management of internal and external presentations to enhance corporate communication strategies.Required Knowledge and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Marketing with ideally 2 years' experience in Healthcare Industry or Medical Devices' Marketing.Event management expertise, experience in organizing and supporting congresses and other events.Proficiency in English and Spanish (both verbal and written) and in software programs, with strong command of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Photoshop and other relevant applications.Driver's license.Demonstrated experience in problem-solving situations, able to clearly identify problems and proactively develop effective solutions.Creativity and innovative skills in designing and developing original content for marketing materials.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with writing and editing skills, and empathy to understand and respond to different stakeholders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks.Organizational skills, graphic design experience, time management, and teamwork are highly recommended skills.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
