Your Mission as a Solid Control Field SpecialistAs a Solid Control Field Specialist, your primary mission will be to manage and optimize the solid control and mud treatment processes on-site. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that the drilling operations run smoothly, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage and optimize drilling fluids (mud): Ensure the drilling mud is maintained at the proper consistency and composition, controlling its density, viscosity, and chemical properties.Operate solid control equipment: Efficiently run and maintain solid control devices such as shale shakers, desanders, desilters, and centrifuges to separate drill cuttings from the drilling fluid.Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs: Enhance safety and efficiency in the solid control processes.Develop customer contacts: Promote company products and services while ensuring client satisfaction with the solid control operations.Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance: Implement CAT, conduct self-assessments, and carry out wellsite inspections to meet regulatory standards.Participate in Service Quality Meetings: Collaborate with customers to identify and implement performance improvements using action plans.Ensure compliance and safety: Adhere to and enforce HSE policies, wearing PPE, and maintaining up-to-date safety training.Monitor and report on operations: Continuously monitor the performance of solid control systems and the condition of drilling fluids, making necessary adjustments and reporting on effectiveness.Qualifications and SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required.Knowledge of Drilling Equipment and Mud Systems with practical experience in solid control and mud treatment.Previous experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry is essential.Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Arabic with the team and clients.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Additional InformationWorking Days Hours: Rotation (4x4)Location: Oil field - Ubari, Jalu - LibyaBenefits: Competitive salary, comprehensive health benefits, and opportunities for career advancement.
