ABOUT THE ROLE
Within the Technical Department in charge of designing and building Data Center campuses, reporting to the Chief Technical Officer within the «Center of Excellence» unit, the PMO Lead is responsible for managing strategic projects to support the company's transformation. They will support management in implementing strategic orientations and managing complex, cross-functional projects. The PMO Lead is responsible for monitoring and orchestrating the company's strategic projects/programs in order to control the stakes, deadlines, schedules, and budgets. The role is both strategic and operational.
RESPONSIBILITIESManagement of cross-functional strategic projects/programsManagement of the scoping, study and implementation phasesLeading operational and/or strategic steering committeesCoordinating the various stakeholders and partners involved in the projectChange management for operational teamsImplementation of methodology and «PMO / Strategic Projects» tools within the departmentRisk assessment and escalation if necessaryPerformance management and reporting: monitoring KPIs, budget, schedule, progress, risks, etc.Internal promotion/communication of strategic projectsRaising awareness and training all D&C teams and partners in the PMO methodology, industrialization, etc., to develop a culture of Lean managementProjects in which the PMO Lead could be involved include (but are not limited to):
Definition of the Technical Department's processes and their deployment across the Platform (Europe) as part of the Data4 Build project. They will be assisted by business and process experts.Implementation of IT tools in collaboration with other Group entities (e.g. ERP, telephony, etc.) as part of the Data4 Build project.Strategic projects launched within the company (internalization/externalization of certain functions, organizational changes, etc.).Operational management of the industrialization of the technical department known as «SMS»: (standardization, massification (scaling), simplification) in coordination with the departments involved, such as Finance, Procurement, Delivery, etc.Internal process review and improvement projects.RESPONSIBILITIES IN TERMS OF IMS CERTIFICATIONSRespect and enforce certification policies in terms of:H&S: Respect and enforce health and safety rules.Environment: Respect and enforce environmental policies.Information security: Respect and enforce information security policies.Energy: Respect and enforce the policy of reducing energy consumption.REQUIREMENTSEducation and experience: Higher education with at least 10 years' experience in managing large-scale strategic projects, particularly digital projects, for large/medium-sized companies in an international context.Technical skills: Experience in conducting complex studies and projects, particularly in construction/infrastructure.Six Sigma Black Belt certification (mandatory)
