About the Role: This is a key role within the software development team in which they will serve as Product Owner of a delivery squad. Partnering directly with a Technology/Delivery Lead, the Product Owner will ensure the delivery squad is setup for success while working on the right priority at the right time.
What You'll Do: Collaborate with Rhapsody's Product Management team to establish the priorities of the delivery squadCreate Epics and User Stories from agreed upon high-level requirementsResponsible for Definition of Ready to include user story creation, acceptance criteria, and end delivery coordinationCreating user-stories that meet INVEST criteria (Independent, Negotiable, Valuable, Estimate-able, Small, and Testable)Partner with Tech/Delivery Lead to ensure balanced user story assignments across the delivery squadsReport status of ongoing development and delivery to stakeholders beyond delivery squad (e.g., Product Management leadership, Operations, Support, etc.)This job requires the candidate to work for a North American Shift from Monday to Friday QualificationsWhat You'll Need to Have to Succeed: Experience as Product Owner or similar role in product managementRelevant education or experience equivalent in Computer Science, Product Management, or a related fieldExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDesired Skills: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalentTechnology background with knowledge of software development and/or web technologiesExperience closely collaborating with software engineering teams and other technology departmentsAdditional InformationWe believe that coming together as a community, in person, is important to innovation, connection and fostering a sense of belonging.
