Role |We are seeking a Junior People Operations Specialist to join Ukio's People team based in our Barcelona office. Together with the rest of the team, you will be our first point of contact for all employee queries across the business. You will be in charge of Onboarding new team members across the business and supporting them understanding their path at Ukio through our mission, values, benefits and processes. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys connecting with people and is brilliant at communicating with international teams.
Reporting directly into the Senior People Operations, you'll be the go-to person on the ground for all employees across Ukio. You will ensure an aligned and consistent approach to people operations across the business, delivering exceptional results against the People Team strategy and goals.
Responsibilities | Manage and execute all administrative steps to enroll new employees at any Ukio location. Work with the People Team to ensure alignment and consistency across markets. Assist the People Operations team with all aspects of the employee lifecycle administration for Ukio teams across Europe. Support the People Operations team in guiding and promoting local market benefits offerings. Be a culture champion: Embody Ukio values and drive culture and values initiatives across the business. Ensure data accuracy in our people systems (HiBob and others), ensuring timely administration and high-quality local people data. Partner with People Team leadership and collaborate with the wider People team to deliver key strategic projects, from brainstorming and development to launch and training phases. About you | Minimum 1 year of experience in an HR Generalist role. Must have knowledge of Spanish legislation; international legislation is a plus. Reactive and employee-centric approach. Excellent organization, prioritization and attention to detail. Tech-savvy and confident with new systems. Self-starter willing to support expansion. Fluent in Spanish and English with excellent communication skills. Flexible, resilient and content with ambiguity and change. Confident working in cross-functional teams.
