To achieve this, we carry out rigorous selection processes that ensure it.We are looking for a Junior Business Development Manager that will assist in BD and Marketing tasks building up and getting knowledge on the processes and practices in the commercial department and in the power business within TR. Will work under supervision of Commercial Director in developing initial prospects and will be included in a career development plan.Role description and responsibilitiesAnalyze the market to uncover opportunities and promote engineering, procurement and construction services for utilities, developers and infra funds, with a primary focus on Power related technologies and projects. Examples include:Gas based power plants: as a key for decarbonization and transition, experience on gas-based GT and CCGT technologiesZero emissions power plants: including CCS solutions for gas power plants and renewables and circular technologies such as biomass and W2EAssistant technologies for electrification of economies: grid assistance technologies for assisting the penetration of renewables such as inertial synchronous condensers, batteries and thermal energy storageContribute in defining TR's value proposition for each opportunity in conjunction with the Power BU Commercial DirectorMaintain a top class and cutting-edge marketing documentation substrate in all commercial aspectsEngage with clients and maintain corporate relationships with clientsDevelop relations with key OEMs and maintain relationships and understanding of their technologies and evolutionary plansEstablish TR's positioning, define the strategy, and support the bidding process, coordinating with other BDMs who provide complementary value (regional knowledge, service knowledge) and with the Power Proposals' DirectorsReport all commercial activities, from opportunity identification to contracting, through SalesforceBackground and experienceNo experience required, but +3 years of relevant experience valuableClear aspiration to become a commercial manager working internationally in the energy/power sectorInquietude and knowledge about power OEMs, utilities, infra-funds & developers, with a keen attitude to get a deep understanding of market drivers, trends and playersEager to develop strategic and analytical thinkingCreative and able to produce high quality techno/commercial documentation, capability to clearly express ideas both verbally and in writingPassion and understanding of the importance that specific technologies (e.g., CH4 and H2 power generation and CCS) have in supporting the energy transitionAvailability for travel, mostly within Europe, America and Middle EastEducation: Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university in industrial engineering
