Who we look for MPS is seeking a highly self-motivated intern with a passion for hardware and good knowledge of power electronics. He will support the development of solutions for high voltage applications (including DC/DC and AC/DC topologies, current sensors, isolated drivers) working inside our hardware department.
Tasks: Validate power integrated circuits to meet the required specifications.Prepare hardware and software setups, together with our hardware & simulation team, to measure all required parameters of our IC.Develop schematics and PCBs for new solutions.Work with the IC design team to debug and troubleshoot the device under test.Generate documentation and reports of all performed tests.Qualifications: MS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.Hands-on experience in verification and troubleshooting of electronic circuits (firmware and hardware).Experience using electronic laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.Good oral and written skills for communication and documentation.Self-motivated, strong team player.Location: Barcelona, Spain
