It supports all members of the university in their respective areas of responsibility by providing IT infrastructure, various services, applications and comprehensive consulting and training services.Position Overview The HRZ at Goethe University is looking to fill the position of IT project employee for campus management (m / f / d) (E 13 TV-G-U) to be filled for a limited period of three years.As part of the university-wide GInKo project, Goethe University Frankfurt is converting its campus management system to the web-based and integrated HISinOne system. The project now involves the conversion of the entire examination and event management system to the EXA module in several stages by an interdisciplinary project team consisting of employees from the University Computer Center and the examination offices.Responsibilities Actively participate in the introduction of the new HISinOne campus management system.Work on process development for examination administration.Develop new concepts for the migration of various data records (e.G., examination regulations) from the old to the new system.Maintain and support the previous HIS-GX system until the migration is complete.Collaborate with team members within the working group and project, and engage with those involved in examination administration in the departments.Your Profile You have a scientific university degree with many years of practical experience in the IT sector. Good general IT skills (Windows, Linux, MS Office), knowledge of relational databases and SQL as well as web technologies (Tomcat application server, XML) are desired. Practical experience in the implementation of study administration processes and issues in a campus management system as well as familiarity with the general university organization and university study operations are advantageous.
