GENERAL DESCRIPTION An IT Workplace Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and guidance to the employees of the organization in using various IT tools and systems. This role will ensure that the IT infrastructure and equipment are functioning properly and securely and troubleshoot any issues that arise. You also collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to implement and maintain IT solutions that enhance the productivity and efficiency of the workplace. As a member of our team, you will travel to different geographies to assist with hardware and software requirements, ensuring our users' systems and networks operate at peak performance. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES Support and fix Level3 incidents (complex one) in the O365 Microsoft environment Collaborate with global procurement of hardware and software. Ensure asset management is performed correctly at international level using various reporting tools available. Install, configure, and update hardware and software, such as laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, phones, and mobile devices. Document and report IT incidents, requests, and solutions. Creation of knowledge bases and other informative material. Train and assist the employees in using various IT tools and systems, such as email, cloud, collaboration, and communication platforms. Research and evaluate new IT products and services that can improve the workplace environment. Coordinate with other IT teams and vendors to implement and maintain IT projects and solutions. Enforce IT policies and procedures throughout the company. Develop and maintain positive relationships with users, ensuring their satisfaction with our services. ACADEMIC BACKGROUND Associate's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience. LANGUAGES Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. Other languages are a plus PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Some experience in IT support or related field preferred. Experience in O365 environment KNOWLEDGE Some experience in IT support or related field preferred. Experience in O365 environment Medium to advanced knowledge of operating systems, including Windows OS. Asset management, experience with ITSM software is valued (ServiceNow, GLPI, Remedy) Basic understanding of networking technologies, protocols, and tools. SKILLS Self-learner, proactive person. Passionate about technology and IT related topics Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients at all levels. Willingness to travel and work in different geographies as needed.
