Position Details Position Title: Internship Programs CoordinatorLocation: Barcelona and SurroundingsHours: Full Time, 38 Hours/WeekType of Contract: TemporaryAnticipated Dates: January - July 2025 This position is part of a team of experienced professionals at Barcelona SAE who work collaboratively to provide the best study abroad, internship and customized programs in Barcelona. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish.Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Proficiency in Google SuitesTeam player with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.Interest in working with college students in an international environment.Cultural fit with Barcelona SAE's vision, mission and core values. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in recruitment, career services, or internship coordination.Knowledge of Barcelona's business landscape and local companies.Familiarity with matching candidates to roles based on skills and preferences.Catalan language skills is a plus.Ability to adapt to dynamic, high-pressure environments during peak seasons. Job Responsibilities The Internship Programs Coordinator will be in charge of orchestrating and coordinating certain aspects of the internship program:
Research and connect with local businesses in Barcelona to establish partnerships for hosting interns.Assess company needs and ensure alignment with the skills and goals of student interns.Conduct detailed matchmaking to pair students with the most suitable companies.Maintain accurate records of company contacts, internship opportunities, and placement progress.Support both students and businesses throughout the onboarding and placement process. Other Tasks:
Taking part in the company's emergency phone shifts. When covering the emergency phone, available to quickly assist in emergency resolution.Mentoring and engaging with students.Leading students groups during cultural activities (inside and outside Barcelona). Flexibility to assist in other departments and tasks when needed. Compensation and Benefits Fun, interactive and dynamic environment.
