This department is dedicated to analyzing, commenting and reporting the financial information that is delivered to Group Management (Group CEO, Group CFO and Group Board) and to external parties (mostly shareholders, analysts, auditors and supervisors).
This department is under the control of the Group CFO of AXA Group.
PBRC is the owner of major Finance processes at Group level and responsible for the analysis and monitoring of IFRS and Solvency 2 actual accounts, and for the production of the Group annual report and SFCR.
Within PBRC, the Group Consolidation team is in charge of preparing the AXA Group IFRS Financial Statements (actual & plan), as well as the Solvency 2 Pillar 3 ("S2P3") regulatory reporting on a quarterly basis.
This includes regular interactions with entities to review and control the IFRS statements and the S2P3 reporting delivered, and to provide assistance to entities in any accounting and consolidation topics.
The team also prepares instructions and prepares functional specification for the evolution of the tools it uses.
The Group Consolidation team has interactions with other Group departments (Norms, Actuaries, Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Risk Management), as well as with other key external stakeholders such as Auditors.
The team is based in Madrid under the supervision of the Head of Consolidation.
Each controller is in charge of some specific transversal topics and is the key contact point of a certain scope of entities.
The position requires an effective relationship with entities and strong interactions with the other Group teams.
The mission is notably in the context of the first implementation of IFRS17 and 9 and will cover both this project and business as usual quarterly of financial information: Participate to the IFRS closings: Preparing work files for the analysis and the controls of the reporting, using Group's consolidation tool and Excel IFRS17 and IFRS9 projects: Participate to the design of the new internal control environment Participate to the review of opening balance sheet information and dry-runs, simulating a full reporting under IFRS17 and 9 Participate to the design and implementation of the future financial statements Potentially participate to the quarterly / annual Solvency 2 Pillar 3 process: Analyze and validate, challenge consolidated information reported by subsidiaries for Solvency 2 reporting templates (QRTs) Participate to the implementation of the new tool to run the S2P3 reporting, notably in the context of IFRS17 and 9 migrations Nível de Educação Necessário Técnicas: Good knowledge of office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), the consolidation tool is SAP BFC Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken) Basic knowledge of accounting, IFRS or Solvency 2 Basic knowledge of financial market instruments Knowing a programming language is a plus Soft skills required: Autonomy and initiative Organized and rigorous Good inter-personal skills and team spirit Ability to work in an international environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
