The Payroll Specialist is responsible for monthly payroll tasks from collecting payroll data and bonus calculations to delivering data to our local payroll partners at the EU level. Your role:Salary file preparation processing: Format payroll data into structured files for processing in payroll software.Compensation Bonuses: Calculation of commissions and bonuses from provided data.Data Collection Verification: Gather essential payroll data, including salary changes, annual vacation days, unpaid absences, sick leaves, newcomers and leavers, bonus payments, salary increases.Cooperation with local salary offices: Collaborate with local salary offices in each country.Reporting Record Keeping: Generate monthly and year-end payroll reports for finance and auditing purposes and maintain accurate payroll data and employee data in our HR platform Personio.Process improvement communication: Continuously improve processes in collaboration with the rest of the HR team.Planning: Plan and oversee the annual payroll calendar, ensuring timely communication of monthly deadlines.What you'll bring:Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multinational environment.Strong knowledge of HR software and Excel.Strong analytical skills and accuracy with numbers.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle sensitive information with discretion.Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset.Familiarity with the Personio platform is a plus!How we'll support you:Work-life balance: Rewarding additional max. 12 days off per year in addition to your annual holidays, supportive team, and hybrid working environment in a good location in L'Eixample, Barcelona.Perks: Private health insurance, cultural activities.Continuous development: We embrace a growth mindset with ongoing development and a culture of feedback!We're constantly evolving – we will hear you with your ideas!
