Our Partner We are currently partnered on a retained basis with a globally renowned business, a global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services that provide clean water, safe food, energy and biopharma/healthcare services. They are currently searching for a Business Development Manager Iberia and MEA for their life sciences division to be responsible for their growth by winning new customers well as building on existing customer relationships and expanding opportunities. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with senior management to design and implement a strategic go-to-market approach based on thorough market intelligence and competitor analysis. Develop a comprehensive growth plan by integrating market data with input from the marketing team, establishing a strong foundation for long-term business expansion. Continuously track competitor movements and refine strategies to ensure optimal outcomes for customers while maximizing growth and profitability. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the customer base and driving revenue growth through effective sales pipeline management and CRM tools. Lead the introduction of innovative products and services, ensuring alignment with financial goals and successful execution across regional markets. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, including stakeholders in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Production, while demonstrating expertise in addressing their specific needs. Drive lead generation and close new business, from equipment sales to comprehensive service agreements, ensuring ongoing customer engagement. Work closely with distributors, providing field support and coaching to maximize sales performance. Collaborate efficiently with internal teams, such as Corporate Account Managers and Field Sales, to ensure seamless customer service. Provide timely sales forecasts to support strategic decisions and maintain clear oversight of regional sales pipelines. Develop and grow new channels within the territory, including OEM partnerships. Participate in annual business reviews with distributors to ensure that objectives are being met and action plans are executed.
