Role Focus: Day-to-day lead of a strategically-minded high profile client as part of the International Client Services team.
Attributes: You are an experienced account manager who's worked across various brands in different industries at creative agencies. Additional experience that's beneficial but not mandatory includes healthcare, digital, and global – because that's our day-to-day focus. Ultimately, we're looking for someone to easily slot into the multicultural dynamics of an agency team made up of 19 different nationalities who has the desire to work and live in the beautiful, sunny city of Barcelona!
You will be passionate about health, strategy and creativity, and about the role that our work can play in promoting strong, well-informed decisions around health issues for all audiences. You enjoy working collaboratively and are able to speak from a strong basis of knowledge.
You are someone who thrives in a close team environment, working with and through others to solve business issues. Always seeking out solutions that work for all parties, you will use your experience and social understanding to influence both internally and externally. You'll also be a firm believer in the importance of making work fun. It's advertising, right? If we're not having fun, we're not doing it right.
Key responsibilities: Client Management: Lead day-to-day contact for a dedicated portfolio of high profile healthcare brands liaising internally and externally (also with agency partners). Understanding of both strategic thinking and project delivery, and able to flex nimbly between the two. High emotional intelligence, able to read a room and adapt communication for different audiences and cultures. Native English communication skills, both spoken and written, and able to communicate with confidence at all levels. Conveys ideas and information in an effective and clear, concise manner, verbally and in writing, in individual and group situations. Commercial: Understanding of the commercial side of an agency and how we make money – track record of running buttoned-up accounts with all the t's crossed and the i's dotted. Responsible for monthly revenue targets for your dedicated client portfolio and contributing to the agency's annual profitability. Agency: Integral and integrated member of the International Clients Services Team. Formal and informal mentor to more junior member of staff (with line management responsibilities). Active and enthusiastic participant in new business activity and pitches. Skills & Experience: Native English, or an excellent command of the English language, is essential due to the international nature of the business. Creative agency experience. Passion for data driven insights and how they inform strategy and creative development. Experience leading a team and managing clients, ideally at international and regional levels. Healthcare experience beneficial but not mandatory. Evidence of working across or with other disciplines, notably digital, will be a distinct advantage.
