You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER/SCIENTIST in the Environmental Division, Public Works Department (PWD) of NAVFAC ROICC ROTA.
In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Reviewing plans and designs for compliance with current Environmental laws and regulations to include the Italian Environmental Final Governing Standards (FGS) as well as DOD and U.S. Navy instructions, policies and directives;Analyzing methods and identifying the most feasible corrective measures for environmental deficiencies and process improvement; and/orCoordinating environmental training for the installation.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
