Insurance Operations Technician - Temporary 12 monthsProvide the highest standards of quality, service delivery and accuracy within the operations function by reviewing instructions received from the Underwriters and brokers accurately enter premium bookings and prepare policy documentation.
To undertake quality checking of the end to end booking and policy issuance process to effectively and efficiently deliver the results required.
To liaise with the Underwriting team and support them to deliver the best quality registration process to the Broker/client.
A flexible approach will be required to support delivery of high quality services and outsourced activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesTo book premiums for all lines of business onto business systems within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLAs).To prepare required policy documentation within agreed SLAs and quality standards and in line with Underwriter requirements.Take personal responsibility for the Quality Control of own and outsourced work elements to ensure that the highest standards of delivery are achieved.Production of system over limit reports and daily SOX reporting for Team Manager sign off.To review and monitor all outsourced work elements, identify type and frequency of problems or inefficiencies, track root cause analysis of rework and make recommendations for continuous improvement.To undertake processing and control of broker Closings and other Underwriting Support activities.To have an in-depth understanding of processes and to adopt an ethos of continuous improvement, error proofing and simplifying, clarifying and eradicating any "non-value" process steps.Proactively gain and develop knowledge of all Property & casualty (P&C) lines of business to facilitate accurate processing for both retained and outsourced work elements.To assist Credit Control with the management of credit referrals within agreed limits of authority. To support Credit Control to ensure that the bookings are amended accordingly with appropriate back up as required.QualificationsLanguage and Experience Spanish (native or bilingual), English (High) is a must and other European language (High) preferred.Experience within a Processing role is essential, particularly experience of following written instructions, data entry and document/report drafting, etc., all functions related with the policy cycle Specific language capability as required above.Previous Commercial Insurance experience is preferred.About UsChubb is a world leader in insurance.
