col-wideJob Description:**Inside Sales Representative - Technical Sales Specialist Iberia for Molecular Biology & Sample Prep****Location/Division Specific Information**Job Title: Inside Sales Representative - Technical Sales Specialist Iberia for Molecular Biology & Sample PrepReports To: District Manager, Inside Sales TSSGroup/Division: Life Sciences and Laboratory Products Group/Biosciences Division (BID)**Job Type**: Full Time, PermanentCareer Band: 5Location: Madrid, Spain (minimum 80% office based)**Position Summary**:The primary objective of the position is to build positive relationships with customers virtually to achieve sales.Key Responsibilities:- Develop strong, consultative relationships with customers and channel partners within the assigned territory, focusing on customer happiness, revenue and margin growth.- Coordinate the entire sales process for assigned accounts and products.- Develop a deep technical knowledge of assigned products within the portfolio of responsibility, as well as strong solid understanding of the features and benefits of competition's products.- Champion use of Salesforce (CRM) for accurate territory management- Responsible to achieve or exceed the sales plan by maintaining existing business and developing new relationships.- Ensure local/country business requirement are met whilst also aligning with business unit goals and objectives.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:- Bachelor''s Degree (or higher) in Life Sciences- Proficient in English written and oral, additional languages preferable, especially Portuguese- Previous laboratory experience preferred.- Previous sales/inside sales experience preferred.- General knowledge of product portfolioNon-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:- Excellent time management and prioritization skills- Application of problem-solving and multi-tasking techniques- Ability to develop technical knowledge across a broad range of complex products.- Strong verbal and written communication, and presentation skills- Proven record of delivering excellent customer service- Outstanding interpersonal skills- Possess excellent eye for business!- Demonstrates the Thermo Fisher values (The Four I's) - Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.Travel Requirements- Ability to travel within territory approximately 20% of the time.Thermo Fisher Scientific is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.
