Position: Industrial Engineer - Continuous Improvement RedX / 6Sigma (Problem Solving) (M/F/D)Location: Viana, Portugal
Key Accountabilities:Dive into Continuous Improvement identifying and eliminating inefficiencies.Develop and lead Kaizen, value stream mapping, and problem-solving activities.Support the Industrial engineering team in daily activities.Develop presentations to customers, employees, and team members using data analysis and visualization techniques.Lead Advanced problem-solving methodology to identify root causes on critical issues.Use DMAIC, statistical process control (SPC), and process capability analysis.Lead Process Optimization, cycle time reduction, capacity improvement, and scrap reduction.Education & Experience:Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering.3-5 years of professional experience in Engineering.Very good knowledge of quality tools and lean methods.Very good knowledge of Industry 4.0 technology.Times & methods training (preferred).Lean Six Sigma GreenBelt or Blackbelt (preferred).RedX Specialist/Expert Certification (preferred).Minitab and SAP knowledge is a plus.Skills:Strong communicator with excellent presentation skills.Collaborative team player with leadership capabilities.High adaptability and innovation-driven mindset.Fluent in Portuguese and English.EEO Statement:BorgWarner is an equal employment opportunity employer such that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, or disability.
