Reporting Chief Operations Officer
Functions:
Under the perspective of continuous improvement, with the team, systematically question the processes with the objective of improving them to ensure the level of service, and ensure that they are met in the subsidiaries.
Lead all projects that impact the export department, to ensure the smooth running of the department, always looking for continuous improvement.
Ensure that relationships with customers (internal and external) and suppliers are aligned with the objectives and vision of the company.
Be in regular contact with the company's clientele to receive or give feedback on operations and establish indicators to monitor activity and service levels.
Define the annual indicators in a clear, measurable way, giving a follow-up and always seeking to improve them.
Establish coordination mechanisms to ensure joint work with the different areas of the company, in order to understand the needs of our customers and anticipate service needs, implementing necessary improvements in processes.
Transmit to the team the necessary information to ensure the objectives and responsibilities of each one, as well as their development in the company.
Ensure that all relationships with suppliers in the area are subject to a Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Decide on the operational organization of the flow of goods, together with other people related to the logistics chain to meet the commitments.
Participate in the creation of transport purchasing policies and their implementation, as well as in service purchase negotiations.
Technically master the processes to ensure that they are implemented following the business fundamentals, as well as their optimization and improvement.
Ensure the implementation of top-down strategies and the deployment of processes.
Establish transportation plans optimizing costs, quality, and deadlines.
Implement tools to improve distribution performance.
Identify training needs within the team.
Comply with the company's occupational risk prevention regulations.
Actively participate in the selection processes of the department's personnel ensuring that the candidates meet the criteria set by the company.
Ensure the application of Occupational Risk Prevention measures in their area.
Ensure the application of transport regulations (IATA, IMO, ADR…) and Incoterms.
Comply with the policies and procedures both general and specific to the position, as well as ensure the completion of all tasks in scope to facilitate the achievement of the company's objectives.
Education:
University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
Specific knowledge:
International Trade.
Incoterms.
Complementary knowledge:
Master in Supply Chain Management.
Project Management (PMI).
Postgraduate Degree in Perfumes and Fragrances, Market and Applications or Isipca.
