The Impact & TA Analyst will focus on Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) and the development of TA projects of investees of the Kuali Fund (Financial Service Providers and Climate Tech Companies) and assist with other GAWA's funds. The Analyst shall also provide support for the investment process from origination to due diligence from an Impact and TA perspective. More specifically:
Identify TA needs related to Climate issues at the investee level during and after the due diligence.Develop TA projects with Financial Institutions to implement solid green/climate lending methodologies that can offer verifiable and transparent adaptation and mitigation benefits data. Develop TA projects with Financial Institutions and Innovative Companies in the other potential areas of work: Social Performance and Environmental Risks Management Systems, Business Model Improvement, Ecosystemic Projects, and Knowledge Sharing.Identify and select the best-suited implementing TA partners and manage the contracting process.Monitor the implementation of TA projects and prepare TA monitoring & evaluation reports.IMM of entities at due diligence using both standardized and customized indicators. Periodically gather data, monitor, manage and report the evolution of each investee. Monitor and manage aggregate adaptation and mitigation benefits data and handle reporting to Donors (EU, AECID and GCF).QualificationsUniversity degree in business, economics, environmental sciences, agroecology, earth science, or climate science; relevant graduate studies would be a plus. 3+ years of experience in Impact Investing, International Development, Sustainability or related sectors; substantial exposure to TA facilities or consulting firms is a plus. Previous experience in Microfinance, Inclusive Finance or green/climate finance.
