THE ROLE
The I&I Market Analyst primary focus is to assist the Spanish team understand in-depth key performance drivers and design winning strategies. The role includes but is not limited to recurrent SoM evolution analysis, understanding brand/segment/channel/market trends and communicating them in an efficient manner to the rest of the departments and the MT, helping them take corrective actions when and where necessary. The role also includes working closely with the Marketing team at an IB Cluster level to help them identify opportunities by launching relevant consumer offers in Spain, Canary Islands and Portugal.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assess Brand Trends (B)/ Analyse Competitors (B)/ Conduct Competitor Brand Performance Analysis (B).
- Assess the performance of brands on a weekly basis through Logista Raw data and MiVending data for ITG and competitors.
- Analyse competitor trends using Logista Panel data and MiVending data.
- Support the identification of opportunities to respond to prevailing brand trends.
- Ensure that recommendations are synthesised and communicated adequately to all the key stakeholders in the business.
- Communicate the results to the MT and other implicated parts through weekly/monthly performance meetings.
- Conduct Deep dives for brands/segments/geographies etc. in order to fully understand performance and propose corrective actions where necessary. Post-Launch Evaluation. Conduct analysis to assess new brand initiatives potential, and measure performance against product launch targets (volume, SoM, incremental SoM).
- Work in conjunction with market(s) to identify product launch learning points and ensure that insights are effectively communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
- Evaluate Market Performance.
- Gather the market data required to assess performance against share, volume, brand and advocacy objectives.
- Analyse the data to establish if targets have been met. Where targets have not been met, conduct root cause analysis and identify potential improvements for the future.
- Complete an analysis and capture key learnings to feedback into the brand teams.

- Commercial experience.
- English: Mid to high level.
