This site is labeled as an Innovation Plant within Corbion, meaning that this is often the first location to produce new products and implement new technologies. You will be part of a knowledgeable, versatile, and creative team.The Operations Manager leads the operation department at the Montmeló site (CMO). The operation department includes raw materials planning and purchasing, final product planning and scheduling, production, packaging, warehouse, orders preparations, and trucks loading. You will take part in the development of the CMO vision and strategy as a member of the leadership team.Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the operations processes to guarantee that products are produced safely, within the Corbion quality standards, produced timely to ensure a proper supply chain, and at predetermined budget efficiencies (fixed and variable).Determine KPIs to ensure operations CMO targets. Search for synergies and more efficient processes between operation areas.Responsible for an adequate plant organization to achieve the operation objectives, including people organization, engagement, training, and equipment.Review and analyze production and operational reports to identify operating or production problems. Design, develop, and implement operating methods and procedures to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality and productivity.Lead Operational Excellence program and improvement tools implementation.Participate in the analysis, development, and startup of new projects in operations such as innovative products, new processes, equipment, or capacity and efficiency increase.Coordinate actions and share information with other company departments to achieve the company goals in safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency (ESH, maintenance, QA, global planning, marketing, customer service, sales, etc.).Interface with plant director, human resources, safety, quality, environmental, maintenance, engineering, global planning, CRM, Research, IT, and other Opcos areas managers to share info and benchmark.Responsible for all the production, storage, packaging, and warehouse facilities.Requirements Educational background in manufacturing, engineering, or chemicals.Fluent in English both writing and speaking.8 years' experience as a production manager and managing personnel in a chemical industry.About Corbion: What makes Corbion truly special is our talented global team of people, who are consciously dedicated to connecting the work we do together with the difference it makes in the lives of consumers, including our own friends and families
