It houses MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe, and is the hosting entity for EuroHPC JU, the Joint Undertaking that leads large-scale investments and HPC provision in Europe.

Context And Mission: Reporting to BSC's Technology Transfer Manager, the Technology Transfer Junior Officer will support the execution of activities defined in innovation projects, mainly focused on identifying, registering, protecting, and facilitating the exploitation of BSC's research results.
The officer will also help with activities that reinforce BSC's positioning in the HPC innovation ecosystem by promoting the use of BSC's portfolio of technologies to society and the market.
Key Duties: Provide help with the management of BSC spin-off portfolio. Assist in the execution of innovation and entrepreneurship projects at BSC. Help organize BSC events within the High Performance Computing innovation ecosystem. Requirements: Education: Business or Law degree preferred (applicants with a science or engineering degree will also be considered).
Knowledge: Knowledge in innovation, IPR management, or similar is a plus.
Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience: Innovation management. Entrepreneurship. Competences: Fluency in English, Spanish, and Catalan is essential. Good written and verbal communication skills. Conditions: The position will be located at BSC within the Directors Department.
We offer a full-time contract (37 hours per week).
