The Institute
The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with more than 400 scientists from 44 countries. The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Human Resources Team at the CRG in Barcelona. We offer the opportunity to foster your skills and expertise within a motivating and challenging work environment with a culture that is open and innovative. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant whose main responsibilities will include staff administrative management, office management, and support/assistance with talent and HR projects.

The main responsibilities: Staff administrative management:Data entry of new and active employees' and collaborators' information in the database.Create employee files (virtual and physical).Support in the completion of the personnel hiring documents such as social security forms, work permit immigration forms, among others.Contact with universities, schools, and research centres for preparing internship/traineeship or collaboration agreements and manage the signature process.Office management:Monthly request to Finance department to create employees as suppliers in ERP Oracle system.Stock management for office supplies, welcome and farewell packages for employees, and maternity and paternity gifts.Talent/Recruiting support:Advertise new job opportunities in several portals.HR Projects assistance:Assist the Head of Department with current and new projects.Support on deliverables: roadmaps, presentations, reports, etc.Organise and schedule meetings, prepare meeting minutes.About the department

Whom would we like to hire? Professional experience:
2 years of experience in a similar role.
Must Have: Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).Full proficiency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written). Proficiency in Catalan is a plus.Desirable but not required/Nice to have: Knowledge and previous HR experience, specifically as it relates to administrative tasks.Experience in collaborative tools: SharePoint, Doodle, Oracle ERP.Education and training:
You hold a Bachelor´s degree and/or higher education (FP) in Administration, Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience of 2 years in a similar role.
Languages:
Full proficiency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written). Proficiency in Catalan is a plus.
Technical skills:
Strong Microsoft Office skills required (in particular, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Experience with Oracle preferred or another ERP.
Competences: High attention to detail (high level of accuracy) as well as comfort in handling a wide range of data (including sensitive and personal information).Excellent organisational skills.High communication (verbal and written) skills."Customer Service" minded professional.Quick learner, positive, proactive, and assertive with a can-do attitude.Team player.The Offer - Working Conditions:
Contract duration: 6 months + permanent.
Estimated annual gross salary: Salary is commensurate with qualifications and consistent with our pay scales.
