Our client, a multinational company leader in the chemical sector, is currently looking for a HSE Manager - Distribution Centers, to lead and develop strategy to ensure implementation of HSE policies, plans and practices for the logistics locations and warehouses across Europe.
Responsibilities: Guide the line management to deliver HSE policy, set the culture and manage hazards.Act as a change agent for continuous improvement and a role model for compliance and commitment.Leverage HSE expertise to build HSE capability in logistics.Contribute to the HSE strategy beyond own unit.Support multiple warehouse locations with HSE expertise.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in areas related to HSE, Chemistry, and/or Supply Chain.Work experience in a similar role within manufacturing/chemical industry.Strong strategic and conceptual skills with the ability to execute and follow through.Positive influencing: ability to convince others, gain agreement or acceptance of plans, activities and ability to move others willingly towards a desired goal or course of action.Ability to drive continuous improvement of the processes, policies, standards.Able to work in an inclusive way in the HSE community to ensure the business experiences 'one voice' and the team's collective objectives are met.Very good verbal and written English language skills (mandatory).All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age or disability.
