The Role: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Team Leader for our People Culture Operations team in Spain, one of our key operational hubs in EMEA.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with your team members to manage day-to-day operations, foster their development, and drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
You will also work with Business Partners and key stakeholders to create a top-tier employee experience.
Additionally, you will prioritize projects, promote continuous process improvement, and elevate the service we offer in Spain.
This position reports to the EMEA Operations Manager and is based in our Madrid office.
Responsibilities Take responsibility for driving and delivering a proactive, customer-centric operations function in line with business needs and Morningstar's people philosophies.
Focus on transforming, improving, and building effective HR processes and policies in compliance with local laws.
Lead, inspire, and develop your team.
Coach and consult team members on transforming work, evaluating processes for opportunities for automation or streamlining, and collaborate with the People Technology or Transformation team as necessary.
Partner with the global operations team on key initiatives while representing local needs.
Define and measure benchmarks for success in HR operations and report on progress.
Provide support as needed with day-to-day operational requirements.
Requirements A minimum of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR operations, including managing day-to-day activities and implementing process improvements.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team, with experience in coaching and performance management.
Strong analytical skills to assess and enhance HR processes, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
In-depth understanding of HR best practices and relevant labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in Spain; knowledge of other locations is a plus.
Fluency in both Spanish and English, both verbal and written.
Experience with Workday and ServiceNow is a plus.
