The HR Business Partner is an experienced HR professional with previous practice from various business areas, a detailed knowledge of the business and the ability to quickly identify gaps in the operation of the internal client, addressing them using HR tools.
Among the main responsibilities, the HR Business Partner will support the designated Business Unit to align business objectives with employees and management. The role will require building partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and associates that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HR Business Partner is expected to coach line managers and support them in developing successors and the talent pipeline. It is also expected that the HRBP has a good knowledge of the Spanish labor law framework to support and provide necessary advice when needed. The HRBP will act as a liaison within the HR team to review, discuss, and support regulatory requirements.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESConduct regular meetings with respective business units.Act as a Change Management agent, supporting organizational/cultural changes.Act as an Advisor, providing HR guidance when appropriate.Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal advisors as needed/required.Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.Provide guidance and input on business unit organization changes, workforce planning, and succession planning.Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDEducational background: Human Resources Degree. Labor Law degree is a plus. MSc in Human Resource Management is appreciated.Experience: 5 to 7 years of professional experience as HRBP, resolving complex employee relations issues. Working knowledge of multiple HR practices, including compensation, employee relations, Diversity & Inclusion, Performance Management, and employment law.
