Your new companyChemical manufacturing.Location: Mataró, Barcelona.Your new roleResponsible for the financial management, control and statutory compliance of the operating activities of the Spanish divisions, namely Sales, and Manufacturing and the legal entities registered in Spain. In addition to working closely with the General manager, Operations Manager and the senior management of the Spanish Divisions. Work closely with the CFO, Group FC, and other members of the global finance team. A key aspect of the ES FC role is to be actively involved in the financial control of the new Spanish Factory building project.ComercialSupport the Sales division in driving sales opportunities and establishing sales targetsProvide Margin control and analysis to the sales divisionWork with the Sales Division to establish, and manage all 3rd party Agents and Distributors relationshipsPromote margin maximisation initiatives across the divisionsEnsure effective commercial processes are in place covering prices, credit limits, credit terms order managementRun weekly debtors/collection meetings with the Sales divisionEnsure customer's collections are activity managed and the AR ledger is kept currentImprove the data accuracy of product assignments to account managers and customers and future product categorisations that are introducedCollaborate with the management of the ES divisions in achieving objectivesEnsure all supplier & customer contracts are appropriately negotiated, administrated, accounted for and controlledDevelop appropriate profitability, value chain analysis, cost & productivity models for the ES DivisionsChallenge profitability and costs to drive a profit optimisation approach across the ES DivisionsEnsure all new capex for the ES divisions are supported with a business case and cost benefit analysis and subsequently tracked against approved capex and benefitsControlResponsible for the timely & accurate month end & year end accounting close process in keeping with group requirements and timetables for all legal entitiesMaintain and continuously improve the financial controls for the ES DivisionsResponsible for the financial control of the company's assets, including inventory; ensuring appropriate checks and reconciliations are performed with corrective action implemented when requiredResponsible for the external audit, liaising with auditors and providing complete and timely inputs to the Group AuditEnsure the ES divisions adhere to the global authority matrixAct as insurance point of contact for the divisions, and coordinate with Group Finance on renewals & claimsEnsure suitable segregation of duties is maintained within the ES finance team including journal postingAct as lead for all ES Finance related ERP developments, implementations, testing, training and user acceptanceDefine and document suitable process maps and controls for all Financial operations in line with Group PoliciesPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including intergroup accounts, to ensure a clean balance sheet position is reported on a monthly basisEnsure that salesman commission, agents commission and rebates are accrued on monthly basis with proper backupEnsure works orders are properly costed and closed on daily basisCoordinate with Group Finance for accounting standards, and Group Services cost accountingProvide the necessary input to the Group's transfer pricing requirements including cost and activity inputs for the management fee recharges to the groupResponsibility for all Payroll, social security, VAT, Duty reporting, filing and compliance for the ES legal entitiesResponsibility for compliance to Spanish Government changes to VAT and corporate taxesControl property leases, service charges, rates, and service provider contracts for the ES legal entitiesResponsible for the annual tax return & compliance requirements for the ES legal entitiesManagement of the company credit card & staff expense process, taking guidance as necessary from the CFO on improvements and bank requirementsManage the Company Spain bank accounts in conjunction with Group FinanceManage the administration of any employment benefits in conjunction with HR policyManage the Petty Cash process and requirements for the Spanish DivisionReporting, Analysis & ForecastingAdhere to the group finance timetables for reporting, analysis and forecastingProvide timely, accurate and relevant performance reports to the ES DivisionsUndertake investigative analysis into performance variancesProvide insightful commentaries to support management reportingLead all ES divisional forecast processes in keeping with Group requirementsEstablish efficient record to report processes to deliver on time and in full financial reportsUtilise the group's reporting and consolidation software as requiredEnsure all intercompany transactions and balances are maintained, reconciled and agreed in line with group policiesCollaborate with Group Finance on developing reporting standards and cataloguesMaintain an accurate and complete cashflow forecast for the Spanish legal entity in line with group requirementsProvide as required all inputs in Group Finance and ensure Power BI reports are actively used/updatedPresent Monthly management accounts to the management teams of the divisionsManagementDay to day management & motivation of the ES Finance teamEnsure relevant job descriptions and objectives are set for the teamHold frequent and regular performance reviews with staffEnsure the ES finance team leave schedule is managed appropriatelyDefine and implement development plans for each team memberEnsure the team are briefed on wider company businessUndertake cross function & cross division projects and responsibilities in keeping with group needsBe an active member of the global finance teamSkills & AttributesThe ideal candidate will have:A Professional accounting qualificationManufacturing experienceSubstantial ERP experience, preferably D365Strong working knowledge of Spanish Payroll, VAT, Duty, tax, and other statutory requirementsLanguages: Spanish and EnglishExperience of working in a group of companiesDemonstrable management and leadership experienceProven exceptional abilities in process management and working with detailEffective written and verbal skillsExcellent Presentation skillsAbility to work autonomously and achieve deadlinesAbility to manage multiple and competing prioritiesA solution orientated and team player attitudeBenefits- Flexible schedule- Reports to: CFO- Managing a team of 2Si estás interesado en esta oferta, haz click en "aplicar ahora" para enviar una copia actualizada de tu CV, o llámanos ahora.Si esta oferta no se adapta a tu perfil pero estás buscando un nuevo puesto de trabajo, por favor contáctanos y lo comentamos.
