A vacancy for a Health Management System Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Getafe.The successful applicant will join Health Management and Predictive Analytic Engineering team.
The department is in charge of the development and engineering support of the Health and Usage Management Systems (HUMS) for different military platforms.This vacancy is specially devoted to the ML team working on C295 aircraft versions.
Experience in HUMS (Health and Usage Management Systems), OMS (On-board Maintenance System), and CMS (Central Maintenance System) will be valuable.The applicant will face the following responsibilities:Lead ML HUMS Systems Engineering activities to specify, develop, integrate, qualify, and certify health management systems in accordance with Airbus Defence and Space standards.Discuss and agree activities with other stakeholders (interfacing systems, programs, chief engineering, integration meetings, etc).Specification of functional and equipment design requirements.Generation and maintenance of design documentation (e.g., system requirements, design data, system interface documents, system description, interface control documents, configuration index documents, testing definition documents...).Lead Integration, validation, and verification tasks during development.Support Certification and Qualification activities.Support Services activities (service bulletin, queries, SLAs...).Support Safety, Security, Installation, Manufacturing, and Configuration Management related activities.Required skills:Educated to degree level in Engineering.Advanced experience within engineering: 3 to 5 years.Experience in Systems Engineering.Knowledge of HUMS, OMS, or CMS systems would be appreciated.Experience working in ML programs (especially C-295).Experience in on-board hardware and software equipment design life-cycle and supplier management.Knowledge of development integration systems engineering activities, from requirements capture to verification/validation activities to achieve a qualified/certified system.Tools requirements: DOORS, SNT, VAULT, SIDIE, ICDMS, SEAS, HARVEST.Knowledge in Airbus procedures and methods (ABDs, DPs, DPAs...).Commitment, proactiveness, and team spirit are a must.Good communication skills, assertiveness, and willingness to travel.Strong Spanish and English skills, both verbal and written.This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth.Company:Airbus Defence and Space SAUEmployment Type:PermanentExperience Level:ProfessionalJob Family:Computing Comm and Info Data ProcessingAt Airbus, we support you to work, connect, and collaborate more easily and flexibly.
