As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site EHS Officer to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights.
As an EHS Officer, you will be foundational in ensuring everyone stays safe and healthy in the workplace.
You'll oversee setting up safety programs, performing risk assessments, and teaching people to maintain a safe work environment.
You'll work with different departments to identify hazards and develop mitigation practices.
It'll also be your job to ensure the organization follows all safety regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct routine task-based risk assessments to identify potential workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and preventative actions.
Commitment to safety and security of our clients' critical infrastructure.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, injuries, and corrective actions taken.
Ability to conduct walk inspection rounds.
Identify security issues and make daily reports on findings.
Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
Collaborate with emergency response teams to ensure preparedness.
Recommend and support the EHS equipment and practices.
Provide EHS training to employees at all levels, directly or with a 3rd party vendor, ensuring understanding of protocols.
Develop educational materials on EHS procedures and regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs and policies.
Collaborate with facility, vendor, and customer management teams to ensure a safe physical working environment for every person on-site.
Develop and update EHS policies and procedures in line with regulatory changes.
Skills and Experience: Completed Certified Safety Professional or near completion.
Proficiency in both English and Spanish (speaking and writing); additional languages such as Italian or Portuguese would be an advantage.
Attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of security measures and protocols in a data center environment beneficial.
Electrical Safety experience an advantage.
Additional Responsibilities: Travel across the EU to conduct site visits, perform audits, and produce reports at client premises.
Ability to understand and stay up-to-date with country-specific legislation related to the business, ensuring compliance.
Implement EHS Policy & Procedures.
Conduct safety meetings.
