We are looking for an experienced and versatile Senior Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving marketing programs and commercial execution for the Southern Cluster Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Greece) region, as well as ensure the implementation of new digital channels. The role will operate solidly within the Southern Cluster structure alongside other cluster and regional stakeholders such as Medical/Clinical, Finance, Training & Education, Comm Ex, Supply Chain, R&D, RA, Market Access, Digital Marketing, GPR, etc. Regional Marketing partners with countries to enable commercial execution excellence to accelerate profitable sales. Travel expected up to 30% of the time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAct as primary Southern cluster contact point for marketing Europe.Establish and lead regional strategy and business focus areas, ensuring country alignment to regional strategy/priorities (e.g., launches, business/product positioning and messaging).Own launch execution readiness, effectiveness, and compliance, identifying root causes behind gaps in new launch performance and driving enhancements to plans.Analyze cluster and country business performance and recommend enhancements or corrective actions to plans and capabilities.Lead cluster-wide activities (campaigns, congresses, peer-to-peers, market development) and lift/shift positive successes across markets to drive profitable revenue growth.Articulate cluster needs, Voice of Customer (internal/external) and market intelligence to GBU and/or to relevant regional/country stakeholders.Liaise effectively with Kidney EMEA team and countries and across multiple functions such as Commercial Excellence (incl Pricing), Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Advocacy, Market Access, Medical, Supply Chain, and Training.Gather cluster inputs for Target Product Profiles (TPP) and coordinate financial business case process.Provide data and insight, make recommendations for on-market product introductions (expansion) and effectiveness to optimize the portfolio in-country growth and profitability.Supports quality growth of key revenue generators in WEU region with specific focus on remote selling and driving product penetration.Helps ensure best of class launch execution.Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.Guide countries in development of the annual commercial BaxP plan that is aligned to the regional segmentation framework.Build lasting relationships with key opinion leaders and gain insights from them for use in developing novel segmentation, targeting and positioning of the products.Provide product, technical and competitive knowledge to increase competency and effectiveness of country marketing teams, sales representatives and distributors.Ensure adherence to pricing strategies for assigned product lines.JOB REQUIREMENTSExtensive Marketing/Commercial experience in the Medical Device/Pharma industry required; familiarity with Surgery and/or Operating Theatre environment.Nephrology is a clear advantage.University degree: Master's/PhD degree, MBA is a plus.Demonstrated record of success in driving new product sales.Background in strategic planning and business development helpful.Preferably training and experience in Digital Marketing with performance history.Analytical skills with business acumen: Strong strategic thinking coupled with strong execution skills.Top communicator, influencing, negotiation and collaboration skills as well as critical thinking & project management skills cross-culturally.Proven track record of operating successfully in a matrix, cross-functionally and in geographically disperse team environment.Ability to embrace and adapt to change, to manage and succeed in ambiguity.Knowledge in various of the following disciplines: Market Research, Segmentation, Targeting and Messaging, Digital & Interactive Marketing, Brand Management, Pricing and Value Messaging, Decision Analytics, Executing Strategic Plans.Equal Employment Opportunity: Baxter is an equal opportunity employer and is therefore firmly committed towards making employment opportunities available to all qualified applicants without regard to gender, race, age, disability, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, marital status, sexual orientation, responsibility for dependents, religion or trade union membership.
