Please Note: Fluency (written and verbal) in both English and Spanish is Essential REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS What We're Looking for A minimum of 3 years of experience in in similar roles within the hospitality and entertainment sectors, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry's unique demands and nuances.
Experience in luxury, lifestyle or hospitality and entertainment is preferred.
Advanced Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience in the maintenance of hotel facilities, encompassing expertise in electrical systems, IT systems, BMS, access control system, plumbing, irrigation, HVAC, elevators, and generators, in addition to general knowledge for civil, architectural and high end interior design maintenance works.
Mastery of both preventive and corrective maintenance is essential to ensure seamless operations.
Inspirational Leadership: A natural ability to lead and motivate the maintenance team, skilfully assigning tasks, coordinating schedules, and championing continuous development to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities Coordination of Preventive Maintenance: Oversee and coordinate preventive maintenance of all hotel equipment and facilities, ensuring adherence to established protocols and technical specifications to maintain peak operational readiness.
Sanitary Maintenance Compliance: Ensure hygienic and sanitary maintenance, including health-critical tasks such as legionella control, strictly following all health and safety regulations.
Energy Monitoring and Optimization: Track energy consumption with a focus on resource optimization, contributing actively to the hotel's sustainability goals by promoting energy-efficient operations.
Budget Oversight and Cost Efficiency: Manage the maintenance budget with an eye for cost optimization and efficient resource allocation, achieving budgetary goals while maintaining top quality standards.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to plan and resolve maintenance-related issues, ensuring seamless operations across all areas of the hotel.
Support for Special Events: Provide essential support during special events, facilitating setup and preparation of spaces to meet unique event requirements.
This includes coordinating any additional carpentry, structural reinforcements, or high-power electrical needs, ensuring each space is flawlessly prepared.
Corrective Maintenance Execution: Carry out corrective maintenance as necessary, promptly addressing any technical issues to guarantee the comfort and safety of guests and staff.
Management of Key Facility Investments: Evaluate vendors and supervise the execution of significant projects for essential facilities, such as elevators, generators, and other major installations, ensuring projects align with hotel standards.
External Contract Supervision: Oversee and evaluate contracts with external maintenance providers, rigorously ensuring the quality of services delivered aligns with the hotel's high standards.
Internal Team Leadership: Organize and lead the internal maintenance team, delegating responsibilities, planning shifts, and managing time-off requests to ensure continuous, efficient operation.
Promotion of Sustainable Practices: Champion environmentally responsible practices in line with the hotel's environmental management policies, fostering a culture of sustainability in every aspect of maintenance.
