.The Opportunity:As a member of the International Commercial Operations Leadership team, you will assume a strategic role in the management of the region by helping the business develop, execute and achieve its financial and operational goals by providing decision support and financial counsel while integrating and using the COE services of the newly expanded FP&A, Analytics, and Reporting teams.You will help guide and support the financial success of CSL Behring's activities in the team's biggest region, which includes all markets except the US. This position requires a unique combination of financial expertise, industry knowledge, strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a track to partner with their commercial teams and achieve growth in a highly regulated and dynamic industry.The Role:Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering:* Lead the regional finance strategy and business partnering activities in collaboration with the SVP/GM to achieve business objectives.* Provide financial guidance, advice, and decision support to Commercial Functions and leaders, including recurring business reviews.* Collaborate with ICO leadership to provide financial insights and help develop business strategies.* Be a trusted financial advisor to the International Regional ComOps team, understanding their goals, challenges, and opportunities.* Analyze alternate financial plans to support our goals and provide sound financial decision-making.Financial Planning & Analysis:* Lead the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial models in close collaboration with CSLB FP&A CoE.* Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable recommendations to enhance financial performance.Strategic Decision Support:* Provide financial guidance and analysis to support in strategic decision-making, including market entry, product launches, pricing strategies, product and resource allocations, and expansion plans within the region in collaboration with CSLB CoE matrix teams.* Work with other departments (CEA, Tax, etc.) to understand the financial implications of changes in public policy (e.G., healthcare reform) on the business.* Participate in business development activities.* Advise on alternate financial plans and the potential impact of current and future laws and regulationsFinancial Controls and Risk Management:* Maintain financial controls and risk management practices to safeguard the integrity of financial data-based on the Global Financial Control Framework and Risk Management.* Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with International ComOps.Projects, Processes & Technology and Operational Excellence:* Work with International ComOps and CSLB Finance to ensure business process excellence to identify needs in information analysis, business systems, and decision-making support
