He/she reports functionally to the International HR Director or the Spain HR Director.SCOPE OF INTERVENTIONThe RRS Spain and Iberia is responsible for the Iberia zone (Spain and Portugal), with a strong focus on Spain.
He/she will therefore be fully conversant with Spanish social legislation and regulations.
He/she will be able to work with correspondents who are familiar with Portuguese law (Portugal HR departments, Portuguese law firms).With a solid background in labour law, highly experienced in collective bargaining and social dialogue within companies, the RRS Spain and Iberia will manage labour relations for Saur subsidiaries in the Iberia zone (Spain 95% - Portugal 5% in the role of activity coordinator) and ensure compliance with labour legislation and regulations within the perimeter.In particular :Collective bargaining (key task)- The RRS Spain and Iberia is responsible for ensuring that companies in the Iberia region comply with their collective bargaining obligations.- In addition to complying with these obligations, he/she develops a genuine, high-quality social partnership, in line with Group standards, at the service of company projects.- He/she prepares and negotiates all collective agreements, and ensures that a favourable social climate is maintained at all times.- He/she represents companies in the Iberia region in branch/regional negotiations.- He/she ensures that, in all circumstances, he/she works within the overall framework of Group Employee Relations (to ensure consistency) and of pre-existing arrangements within the Group.Staff representationThe RRS Spain and Iberia is the guarantor of compliance with the obligations of companies in the Iberia zone in terms of staff representation, and in particular :He/she is responsible for organising professional elections at the appropriate intervals;He/she ensures that the bodies operate in accordance with the applicable legislation/regulations.He/she constantly monitors the quality of social dialogue in support of company projects.Expert in employment lawBased on his/her knowledge of Spanish social legislation and regulations, the RRS Spain and Iberia will provide :Day-to-day advice to HR teams and Operational/Support departments;Expertise in all corporate matters involving employment law (M&A projects, organisational changes, etc.
).When a new position is created, the RRS Spain and Iberia will carry out an audit of operational and HR practices within 12 months of taking up the post.
This will enable an assessment to be made of the situation with regard to social legislation/regulations, and an action plan to be drawn up and implemented.In addition to providing advice, the RRS Spain and Iberia is a driving force behind proposals to introduce and/or develop business processes within his/her area of expertise.
He/she proposes and develops 'Employment Law / Labour Relations' processes based on the key issues he/she has identified (e.g.
modelling employment contracts, standardising the process for terminating employment contracts, etc.
).He/she will provide guidance to HR managers on these processes and on current employment issues.Litigation The RSS Spain and Iberia manages employee-related litigation for companies in the Iberia region.
He/she represents and defends companies before mediation and judicial bodies.Employee relations monitoring The HSR for Spain and Iberia keeps a constant watch on legal, regulatory and case law developments, and adapts or arranges for the adaptation of internal processes/systems in line with these developments.YOUR PROFILE Training in Spanish employment law (5 years' higher education) + at least 7 to 10 years' experience as an Employee Relations Manager in an international company or group.Mastery of Spanish social legislation and regulations, ability to work with several collective agreementsAbility to work in an international, complex and matrix environmentA very strong aptitude for industrial relations and collective bargaining in a social partnership mode, and the ability to anticipate and manage industrial disputes (if necessary)Understanding of business issues in a context of strong corporate development, risk management, sense of priorities and solution orientationThoroughness, ability to listen, agility, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independentlyStrong interpersonal skills - ability to work as part of a teamRespect for the highest standards of integrity, ethics and responsibility in all activities relating to labour relations and personnel management.Excellent command of English (as the RRS Iberia reports to the Group Head of Employee Relations and Group Benefits, based in Paris (France) - fluency in French is highly valued, but not required for the position).YOUR GUESTAGUA BENEFITS- A dynamic and collaborative work environment.- Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.- Participation in innovative and challenging projects.- Salary according to experience.GESTAGUA is a company committed to diversity and equality.
