The Opportunity:
As Head of Digital Strategy, you will spearhead our global organisation's digital transformation journey. Reporting directly to the VP of Digital Commercial Excellence, you'll be the driving force behind their digital and marketing transformation strategy. This pivotal role involves strategic leadership, team development, and implementation of a cutting-edge digital marketing technology roadmap to enhance our customer experience.
This is a global leadership position with key stakeholders across Europe, requiring periodic travel.
Your Impact:
Directly report to the Vice President Digital Commercial Excellence to drive digitally-enabled marketing strategies to drive business growth.
Architect and execute the marketing digital strategy, aligning with the company's broader digital vision and marketing objectives to shape innovative digital initiatives.
Conceptualise and launch cutting-edge digital marketing products that meet business objectives and enhance customer experiences, fostering an inclusive approach to digital innovation.
Build and inspire a diverse, global team of Solution Architects and Business Analysts, creating an environment that values different perspectives, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Champion the integration of data-driven, digital technologies and practices within marketing processes, driving efficiency and scalability.
Strategically manage financial resources, overseeing both CAPEX and OPEX for your area of responsibility, including initial investments and ongoing operational costs.
Your Expertise:
Proven track record as a senior operational leader specialising in digital and marketing transformation (10+ years of professional experience).
Demonstrated success in leading global transformation projects, with expertise in change management, commercial acumen, technical proficiency, and stakeholder engagement.
In-depth understanding of marketing processes including marketing automation, content management, and web technologies from both business and digital perspectives.
Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Drupal.
Experience managing Digital Asset Management (DAM) programs.
Passionate about technology and innovation, with a knack for developing creative solutions to enhance business processes and customer experiences.
Strong communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Adept at working in matrix-managed organizations.
Experience in the consumer goods or food industry is advantageous (not essential).
Location is flexible across Europe, home-based with frequent travel.
