Directly reporting to our Director of functional design, we are looking for a Head of Developer Experience, with a primary focus on the experience of our API integration services.
As the Developer Experience Lead at PayRetailers, you will be responsible for enhancing and building all customer integration products for our Payment Service Provider (PSP) platform. Your primary goal is to create a seamless and intuitive integration experience for developers, ensuring our payment solutions are easy to implement, highly functional, and well-documented.
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Lead the development of customer integration products, including APIs, SDKs, Paywalls, and tools for alternative payment methods and card payments.Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define integration requirements.Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.Design and implement strategies to improve the developer experience and own the developer integration journey from awareness to live processing.Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, tutorials, and guides.Create and manage developer portals and forums to support and engage the developer community.Work closely with customers to understand integration challenges and gather feedback.Monitor and analyze usage metrics, customer feedback, and performance data for continuous improvement.Qualifications: MUST: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in a similar role, focusing on developer experience and integration products.Strong technical background with expertise in API design, software development, and system architecture.Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to various audiences.Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.Nice to have: Experience with alternative payment methods and card payments is highly desirable.What do we offer: Opportunities to grow within a company in hypergrowth stage.Additional days of holidays!Hybrid working model up to 2 days from home.Free catering in the office when you decide to come.Excellent work environment and good collaboration.Possibility to increase your net salary through our flexible retribution partner!Free coffee/tea, fruits, and snacks from the company.
