The ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Europe division is looking for a H&S Specialist to coordinate H&S at AMTP Europe, reporting to Head of H&S and Quality AMTP Europe.This position can be based in any of the AMTP Europe locations.As H&S Specialist, your main responsibilities and mission will be:Support the development of H&S policies and programsAdvise and instruct on various safety-related topics (process and machinery compliance, etc.)Ensure best-practice sharing between AMTP Europe production sitesReview existing policies and measures and update according to legislationDevelop and implement AMTP Europe H&S guidelines and proceduresConduct risk assessment and enforce preventive measuresInitiate and organize H&S training of employees and executivesCarry out regular audits at AMTP Europe facilities (behavioral, compliance, incl. fatality prevention cross-audits)Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthyCoordinate the process of recording and investigation of safety incidents to determine causes and prevent recurrence, validate investigation resultsFollow up on priority H&S KPIs (proactive and lagging indicators), projects and actions (e.G., sites' and key managers' safety audits performance, actions closure, machinery compliance, fatality prevention program, training programs and certifications) across AMTP Europe perimeterPrepare reports and provide statistical and analytical information to upper management (weekly, monthly and ad hoc)Organize H&S Day and HAP (Health Week) CampaignProposal of penalties / rewards. Implementation of H&S consequence management guidelinesJTZ (Journey to Zero)Participate to the segment JTZ Steering & Coordination Committees and prepare the reportsRed side auditor (P6A) including reports preparationParticipation as expert in working groupsImplement decisions from JTZ Committee to AMTP EuropeRequirements Proven experience as a safety specialist in an industrial environmentFluency in English, knowledge of any other European language would be an assetIn depth knowledge of legislation (e.G. OSHA/EPA) and standards (e.G. ISO 45001)Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials and practicesExperience in developing H&S policies and proceduresExperience in conducting data analysis and reportingAdvanced skills in Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, incl. its automation toolsExcellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain H&S topicsAble to travel on a regular basis to the different production sites of the division#J-18808-Ljbffr
