Responsibilities:
CREATIVITY & QUALITY: Lead and supervise the creation and development of visual concepts, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and overall creative strategy. Develop and maintain the visual and verbal identity of the brand, including graphic design, typography, photography, video elements, and compelling copy. Spearhead the development of innovative and engaging visual and written solutions that resonate with our target audience. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually elevate the standards of our brand's visual and written content.
COLLABORATION & INITIATIVE: Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a cohesive and impactful visual and written narrative across products, marketing campaigns, and online/offline channels. Demonstrate proactive engagement and resolve by actively supporting the team to achieve project objectives.
LEADERSHIP: Lead the content creation internal and external teams by providing artistic direction, guidance, and support, fostering creativity, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring the successful execution of visual and written projects. Ensure that all visual and written content produced meets brand standards, quality requirements, and deadlines. Conduct regular design and copy reviews and critiques, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and creative excellence.
CONTENT GENERATION SHOOTING: Oversee the production of all audiovisual content, including both photo and video shootings, from planning and coordination to execution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality visual representations of our products. Collaborate closely with producers, photographers, stylists, and other collaborators to conceptualize and execute shootings that effectively showcase our products and brand identity. Manage the budget and resources for shootings, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in visual design, with at least 2 years in a role of art director or similar.
Proven track record of creating visually impactful designs across various mediums.
Exceptional proficiency in graphic design software and tools.
Strong understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and composition.
Effective communication skills and ability to present visual concepts to stakeholders.
Leadership skills to inspire and guide design teams towards creative excellence.
Experience in managing and leading a team of designers.
Experience in planning and executing product shootings.
Knowledge or understanding of copywriting principles to effectively supervise and provide guidance to the Copywriting team.
Preferably, a university degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
