They have big clients and are looking for a Lead Test Automation Engineer for their client - a well-known telecommunications company!ResponsibilitiesDefining and improving QA strategy, approach, and execution in the development team;Ensuring that the development team adheres to the principles, guidelines, and best practices of the QA strategy;Gathering and presenting testing metrics and testing activities for the project to the team's key stakeholders;Focusing on continuous QA improvements including the usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, and best test automation practices;Being an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance;Driving and improving the QA team in areas of automated testing, agile testing, framework, strategy, and discipline;Working with other QA engineers, Developers, and Tech Leads to develop and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed department and corporate quality goals;Providing technical expertise within Test Automation and Quality Assurance;Being accountable for the test automation project, mentoring, and providing leadership to other QA automation engineers;Maintaining and improving existing test automation framework and CI/CD pipelines for the team.Requirements3+ years of experience in QA Lead/Test Automation Engineer or similar role;Participating in refining acceptance criteria together with the business to maximize test coverage;Supporting and coaching the team to integrate quality in all they do (unit tests, user story writing, test automation);Contributing relentlessly to quality improvements in your team: solution design, workflow, monitoring;Practical knowledge of any programming language, preferably in a scripting language;Ability to build and maintain custom Test Automation Frameworks;Understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and Built-In-Quality;Practical knowledge of working with REST APIs (including extensive test automation experience);Experience with Git;An assertive, proactive person who thinks analytically;Detail-oriented with good time management skills and the ability to fit in a fast-paced agile environment.
