We are recruiting for two Graduate Structural Engineers to join our fast-growing office in Barcelona. This is an exceptional opportunity for ambitious and highly capable Graduate Structural Engineers, with some or no experience, to join our multi-disciplinary team working on exciting and significant projects throughout Europe. The sectors will include: aviation, leisure facilities, residential, data centres, mixed-use development, pharmaceutical and UK government projects.
About you
We are looking for Graduate Structural Engineers by training (or architects with masters in structural engineering) with a very sound technical background in design principles for steel and concrete structures, as well as foundations and retaining systems. Our projects often involve bespoke solutions and the development of full new building systems. Experience with special solutions in prefabrication is a big advantage, but an open mind for unusual solutions and a willingness to learn are essential. Key skills :
Proficient in FEM software such as ROBOT, ETABS, or SAP 2000
Knowledge of Eurocodes and relevant International Design standards
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Experience designing steel and concrete structures (desirable)
Experience designing foundations (desirable)
Knowledge of BIM packages
Excellent organisational skills
Self-motivated and able to take responsibility
Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
Good interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and as part of an effective team
Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
