This role can be based in any of EMEA cities where AWS has an office. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a world-class partner and alliance leader to join the EMEA Partner Specialists team to lead generative AI (genAI) applications efforts with Partners in EMEA. AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services. Within SMGS, as a Partner Development Specialist (PDS) for GenAI Apps, you will have an exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to accelerate adoption of AWS GenAI through Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Solution Providers (SPs).
EMEA is a land of buyers - customers face challenges identifying and implementing viable genAI use cases to move to production, especially those with a "buy" versus "build" culture. This creates opportunities for AWS partners to absorb the "build" effort through horizontal and vertical Line Of Business (LoB) solutions and applications independently of the AWS technology used (e.g., Amazon Q, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker). Partners who embrace this turnkey mindset are critical to increase the likelihood of a genAI production deployment for many of our customers.
As the EMEA genAI applications leader, you will own mechanisms of a fast-growing subset of the top layer of the AWS genAI stack for partners building on AWS genAI services such as Amazon Bedrock or specialized chips to offer ready-made applications to customers looking to buy, not build.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesPartner Identification and Recruitment: Identify and onboard must-recruit SaaS / ISV partners and leading SIs developing leading genAI applications on AWS in the AWS Partner Network (APN).Partner Enablement and Competency Development: Bring the right applications providers to the genAI competency and provide thought leadership to the ISV & Start-up teams on "whitespace" opportunities for partners based on apps / solutions supply versus use case demand.Go-to-Market Strategy: Identify top use cases for applications across verticals and horizontals, connecting back to the AWS genAI 3-layer approach, and help the field discover Partner solutions and applications against these use cases.Solution / Use Case Discussions: Lead solution / use case discussions with partner executives and Line of Business (LoB) buyers from ideation to go-to-market.Partner Sales Enablement: Work with Partner Sales, creating the right interlock between customer demand and partner solutions / applications to ensure the best match.
