Job Summary: OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Support the social media marketing team to increase awareness, buzz and engagement around Disney+ brand, with special focus on Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, TikTok & YouTube, both organic and paid campaigns.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: SOCIAL MEDIA: Manage and moderate Disney+ social networking profiles: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Produce social conversation calendars and set templates for the different titles. Analyze the performance of social media platforms and general insights. Look for new proposals and benchmarks. Coordinate Influencer activations materials with the different agencies. BOUGHT MEDIA: Participate in Social Media Ad campaigns management and analysis. Support Bought Media activity campaigns if needed. MATERIALS: Liaise with Regional/Global to request digital materials for our territory (i.e., social games, banner ads, toolkit). Create local materials liaising with the agencies and the Brand Managers (i.e., memes, viral videos, local spots) and liaise with Regional/Global creative, social and legal team to manage its approvals. COMPETITIONS & SWEEPSTAKES: Legal adaptation of T&C; and mechanics verification, working closely with the Legal Dept.
and also with the Notary. Search and optimization of prizes involving as many LOBs as possible. Implementation, supervision and control of winners working closely with the agency and the Finance Dept. Local reporting and sharing with Regional learning and insights. EXPECTED AREAS OF COMPETENCE (i.e., Personal Skills & Attributes): Ability to manage social media profiles and deal with vendors (community managers, media planners, designers, developers), teams (Marketing/Brand, PR, Retail/E-commerce, CRM) and internal clients at a local and international level.
Experience in the entertainment industry supporting Marketing would be a plus. Organizational and creative mindset with the ability to develop and execute Marketing strategies on social media using content to engage users and also investing in paid advertising campaigns to amplify awareness. Able to learn new tools, functionalities and last trends quickly and effectively.
Able to analyze social metrics to drive action and deliver value. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION: No experience required.
QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE DESIRED: +1 years of professional media, digital and entertainment experience. University degree (Advertising or marketing degree preferred). Fluent in Spanish and English. Computer knowledge (Windows Office, Photoshop/Fireworks). Extensive experience with digital marketing and social media. Demonstrated ability in problem solving by team working. Written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English. Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in diverse group settings. Experience in social media management. Demonstrated ability in analytics (Omniture, BuzzMetrics, Google, Facebook, YouTube). Proactively identify trends and opportunities to drive action and deliver value.
