About the role
The main purpose of this role is to:
Ensure local teams (sales, training & support) in all Straumann subsidiaries and Distributors are trained and enabled to effectively meet their customers' needs on Smilecloud & digital dental workflows. This is achieved by the creation and delivery of training concepts, content & tools for Smilecloud and associated software and services, for use in various contexts including face-to-face, virtual, and online settings.
Work with software and service developers to provide integrated self-directed learning experiences in our primary software, services, and portals.
Provide voice of the dentist clinical expertise as required for various projects.
The primary recipient of the training delivered by the Global Training and Education Manager Digital is the regional & local organizations, but at times will also include broader cross-functional teams and customers. International travel is required, frequency will vary based upon demand for face-to-face training in local markets.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Design training concepts to support Smilecloud and associated workflow software & services, to be delivered in face-to-face, virtual, and online training contexts.
Create high-quality training material and tools to support the implementation of training concepts in all contexts, and are suitable for reapplication in local markets. For example, training agendas, PowerPoint presentations, digital and print workbooks, video content, reference documents, step-by-steps, eLearning modules, podcasts, etc.
Work with software and service developers to create user learning experiences integrated into our software and platforms.
Deliver high-quality training, both face-to-face in regional hubs & local markets worldwide, or using various virtual platforms such as Teams and social media.
In collaboration with the Head Training & Education Digital, demonstrate leadership by defining the vision, standards, and benchmarks for Training & Education globally.
Responsible for proactively collaborating with regional and country Training & Education organizations, coordinating and implementing appropriate training plans aligned with commercial priorities and needs.
Collaboration with partner manufacturers, Product Managers, and marketing to contribute to various projects, ensuring effective training plans are aligned to new launches, updates, and initiatives.
Deliver onboarding training for all new Straumann employees, leveraging appropriate platforms & consistent with existing programs.
Act as a role model, mentor, and coach for the Global Training & Education organization.
Play an active role in special projects requiring clinical expertise, representing the voice of the customer/dentist.
About the candidates Requirements needed
Education & Experience
Dental industry experience required, including experience in esthetic dentistry utilizing smile design software and/or dental treatment planning software.
Previous training & education experience in face-to-face, virtual, and online settings required.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in structured learning design using various pedagogic approaches, preferably in the context of software training.
Must be fluent in English; multilingual is advantageous.
