Job Description
At Galderma, we are building a world-class Operations organization through enhanced product launch and end-to-end product life-cycle leadership.
In the role of Global Product Operations Leader, you will be fully accountable for the development and implementation of the new product operating model across the Rx Inline & OTC business, as we strive to launch Galderma into the next phase of development and drive performance improvements that will substantially impact our future growth.
You will spearhead launches of all major Rx Inline & OTC products and manage those products throughout their full life-cycle and per the product operating model, ensuring high performing product teams are established and delivering on the product ambition of continued availability at optimal quality, on time and in cost.
This role will report to the Global Head of Product Operations and lead a product team with representatives from all key functions in global Operations and end-to-end stakeholders, with full responsibility for the successful execution of product strategy in Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Act as change leader to pioneer and establish the Galderma Product Operating model within Operations and across our end-to-end stakeholders.
Lead the Rx Inline & OTC Product Operations Teams, applying broad knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing technology, regulatory requirements, quality standards, financial aspects, and business processes - within Rx Inline & OTC - to drive maximum product value.
Provide leadership for major Rx Inline & OTC launches, geographic roll-out and end-to-end life cycle management projects. Assimilate new and emerging information on the brand strategy as will be developed by the Global Product Strategy organization.
Analyze and integrate data from across functional areas to provide strategic guidance to the Product Team in developing and executing projects and apply this to update strategies, priorities and projects.
Work to achieve upstream cross-functional alignment and act as the primary source of communication regarding major Rx Inline & OTC launches within the Operations organization to ensure that strategies, recommendations and emerging issues are appropriately deployed.
Develop and maintain a high performing team, building effective relationships and collaboration. Coach and mentor individual team members relating to their individual capabilities that contribute to team effectiveness.
Lead the Rx Inline & OTC Global Product Teams in crafting integrated and innovative product strategies that optimize and prioritize a portfolio of projects throughout its life-cycle.
Accountable for shaping and enabling the Product operating model and further across Galderma - leading by example and acting as a change agent.
Partner with Operations management, Global Product Strategy Franchise Lead, Research & Development to ensure accurate, fact-based, two-way communication regarding requirements, expectations and capabilities. Act as an active member of the Rx Inline & OTC Core Team with R&D; and GPS.
Manage Rx Inline & OTC product launches and own the product risk management process - anticipate and mitigate risks to supply in the present and the future.
Communicate on project progress and escalate emerging issues to senior management and Rx Inline & OTC Core Team.
Skills & Qualifications
BS/MS in operations, engineering, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or related field, advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in pharmaceutical, OTC, life sciences, biotech, or related field. Experience in launching products, managing geographic rollouts, and LCM projects.
Proven experience within a Product Operating model in a complex environment is an advantage.
Strong experience leading cross-functional teams including supply, quality, regulatory affairs, CMC, procurement, process experts, packaging, and device experts.
Strong analytical ability and ability to structure, prioritize and simplify communication in a complex and growth business environment.
Strong experience leading cross-functional teams and driving change.
Leadership skills including communication, conflict management, and coaching, with demonstrated practice of organizational change management.
Ability to effectively engage with and influence senior stakeholders.
A sense of urgency in driving projects and desire to set ambitious goals and work aggressively to meet project schedules, utilizing the latest project management tools and techniques.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Fluent in both written and spoken English, other languages an asset.
