Your role and responsibilities
Our Business Line Analytical team is seeking a Global Product Marketing Communications Manager, Continuous Gas Analyzer. In this role, you will create and implement marketing and communication strategies that drive business growth and enhance brand recognition in the global market. In the Business Line Analytical, we offer a wide range of innovative analytical measurement solutions that detect and prevent gas leaks, protecting both the environment and businesses' bottom line. Our systems operate in extreme conditions, from the ocean to outer space, continuously monitoring natural and industrial greenhouse gas emissions, including CO2 and methane, to safeguard human health and the planet.
This business line is part of the ABB Measurement & Analytics division, one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers. With thousands of experts worldwide and cutting-edge digital technology, ABB's team is dedicated to simplifying measurement for industrial and energy customers, helping them operate more efficiently and profitably.
Your responsibilities:
Propose and implement internal and external communication strategies for the Continuous Gas Analyzers portfolio, validated by the Global Marketing & Communications Manager/product line managers, within the approved budget.
Plan, create, and deliver engaging content for various channels, including web, social media, email, newsletters, brochures, and videos, leveraging your editing skills in video and graphics.
Collaborate with product managers, sales teams, and external agencies to ensure alignment and consistency of messaging and visuals across regions and markets.
Monitor and analyze the performance and impact of marketing and communication activities using metrics and feedback tools.
Support the organization and promotion of internal and external events, such as town halls, webinars, trade shows, and customer seminars.
Manage and update the BL Analytical website, intranet pages, and internal social media platform, ensuring compliance with ABB's brand guidelines and SEO best practices.
Research and identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence to support product positioning and value proposition development.
Qualifications for the role
To be successful, you bring 5-8 years of experience in a similar role within the B2B industry. You are equipped with a BSc/BA in marketing, communications, engineering, or a related field. You are an open-minded, autonomous self-starter and a strong networker with a keen interest in technology issues. Your strategic thinking is combined with creativity and a hands-on approach to translating strategies into actions, as well as monitoring and reporting on progress (KPIs). You are a fast learner, capable of translating complex technologies into clear, engaging content. You are proficient in office and creative programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint. Strong written and spoken communication skills are key to your success, and you are fluent in English. Fluency in German is a plus.
