This role is responsible for providing technical consultations, operational support, troubleshooting, benchmarking, strategy building, business planning, and conducting assessments in safety and environmental compliance, cyber security, advanced process control and optimizations, energy and electrical efficiency, process engineering, reliability and maintenance, and operational excellence.This role is also instrumental in implementing the digital transformation program. Your primary responsibility will be to handle energy engineering aspects, ensuring energy management program compliance and improving energy efficiency of multiple operating facilities/assets from the Global Manufacturing Admin Area. You will also provide technical support on high-priority energy engineering and management issues.Responsibilities:Develop an energy efficiency roadmap for oil and gas refineries.Create an energy baseline and define Energy Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to analyze energy performance.Ensure energy compliance and efficiency for each operating facility.Develop and maintain Energy Policy, documents, and procedures.Collaborate with the refinery energy team to identify energy-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for achieving more energy-efficient operations.Analyze and monitor daily refinery energy usage and conduct energy audits.Monitor and control refinery energy intensity indicators to improve energy efficiency.Conduct job site observations, field inspections, or sub-metering to collect data for energy conservation analyses.Conduct internal energy benchmarking studies among the oil and gas refineries.Organize technical exchange workshops among the oil and gas refineries.Develop and deliver training materials to promote energy awareness among refinery personnel.Requirements:This role requires the candidate to permanently relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.Hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or an equivalent field
