The Corporate segment offers supporting services including human resources, finance, and information technology.The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.Job SummaryThe successful candidate will serve as the Company's foremost expert in Downstream strategy, providing insight and recommendations to the Downstream Finance, Strategy & Planning function, the Downstream President, and other members of Downstream Management. They will independently initiate research on a wide variety of topics relevant to the Company's competitive advantage in the Downstream business and prepare research and analyses as required by Downstream executive management, the Downstream Investment & Strategy Committee, or other Corporate Committees. This will include analysis of developments in technology, geopolitics, sustainability, and other relevant regulations, Saudi Arabia's government plans, and the Downstream industry in general.Additionally, the incumbent will participate in the formulation and maintenance of the overarching Downstream strategy, as well as in the management of Downstream strategy execution.This involves collaborating in the formulation of strategies for the Downstream businesses, translating the strategies into investment plans for capital planning purposes, as well as into business plans for overall resource planning purposes, and KPI monitoring. The incumbent will furthermore lead, and/or collaborate in, strategic projects to execute decisions resulting from strategic analyses.The role requires the building and maintaining of strong relationships with subject matter experts across the Company, as well as from think tanks and other industry advisory bodies, in order to keep abreast of key developments in the Downstream business globally, as well as other arenas that could impact the This Company Downstream's competitive performance.
