Global Marketing Director
Description and Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Goal Setting: Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and internal company resources to formulate long-term and short-term marketing strategies. Establish clear, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) marketing goals.
Global Team Management and Leadership: Build, train, and manage an efficient marketing team, clarifying the responsibilities and tasks of global team members. Motivate global team members, create a positive working atmosphere, and enhance the team's cohesion and execution ability.
Market Research and Analysis: Organize and supervise market research activities, collecting, analyzing, and evaluating information related to consumer needs, competitors, and industry trends. Based on research results, provide suggestions for the positioning of the company's products or services to meet market demands and maintain a competitive edge.
Brand Promotion and Management: Develop and implement brand communication strategies to increase the company's brand awareness, reputation, and loyalty. Ensure the consistency and standardization of the company's brand image to maintain brand value.
Marketing Campaign Planning and Execution: Plan and organize various marketing campaigns, such as online and offline promotions, advertising placements, public relations activities, and sales promotions. Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, conduct evaluations and optimizations to improve the return on investment.
Budget Management and Resource Allocation: Be responsible for budgeting and controlling the marketing department, and allocate resources rationally to ensure effective utilization. Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of various marketing activities and optimize budget expenditures.
Partnerships and Alliances: Search for and establish partnerships with external partners, such as advertising agencies, media, and industry associations. Oversee the implementation of cooperative projects to ensure the desired cooperation effects.
Market Information Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor market dynamics and changes in competitors, and adjust marketing strategies in a timely manner. Regularly report the progress and achievements of marketing work to senior leaders, providing decision-making support data and suggestions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in marketing, with at least 8 years in a leadership role. Experience in the TIC Industry is highly desirable.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
Excellent leadership and global team management skills.
