Job Description
ESS System Design: Lead the design and engineering efforts for Battery Energy Storage Systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Candidate shall have experience on DC & AC system integration, Battery Sizing, Thermal management, auxiliaries, EMS integration.
Team Management: Manage a team of engineers and technical staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive excellence in execution.
Implementation: Oversee the implementation of BESS projects, from concept to commissioning, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.

Manage project execution of engineering design, material, equipment, and construction specification development for various battery storage projects. The assignments are varied and will include engineering, construction support, and Engineer Procure & Construct (EPC) projects. International Supplier Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with international suppliers, particularly in China, US, and Japan, to source high-quality components and materials for BESS manufacturing.
Research & Development: Collaborate with the R&D team to drive innovation and continuous improvement in BESS technology driving next generation DC block design, staying ahead of industry trends and customer requirements.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders within the Gensol Group to leverage synergies and optimize resource allocation for BESS projects.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements in the design and implementation of BESS solutions.

The Successful Applicant
10+ years' experience in Energy Storage System (ESS) design and engineering team management.
Experience with DG or Utility-scale BESS system design is preferred.
Experience leading an international high performing global team.
Familiarity with international suppliers, particularly in USA, LATAM, and Europe.
Open to candidates located in the international markets.
