As Global Director of Operational Product Management (OPM), your main job is to lead and set up operational projects related to the launch of new products to the market, complete product lifecycle for commercial products and special operational projects such as cost improvement or supply guarantee projects, in scope of capacity, timing and budget. Contribute to create opportunities of improvement and being the engine of changes to give benefit to the activities of the company. Be the example of service, professionalism and efficiency, winning and keeping our customer's trust and performing a motivating and enriching environment where every person gives as much as possible. This is a strategic position within the organization responsible for ensuring the success of new product launches and the product lifecycle management for the baseline from the company. The Global Director of OPM will lead a team of operational project leaders across the Synthon network, reporting directly to the Vice President Global Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage an international team of Project leaders. Ensure the optimal training and development of the people in the department, creating a motivating and enthusiastic environment that promotes high performance and employee engagement. Lead the department resources to achieve the objectives in the most efficient way. Motivate group of people out of the department to achieve the Operational goals defined.
Operational Oversight / Decision making: Support the team to ensure successful product launches at Day 1 to market. Participate in the definition of the projects to be executed to achieve the department's objectives. Manage intra-departmental projects, budget, and resources. Supervise project status. Prepare the business case for assigned projects and propose priority setting based on financial parameters and risk to the business. Manage the multidisciplinary project teams, in the defined framework of scope, time, budget, and quality of each project.
Monitor, prepare necessary decision making by stakeholders and, when necessary, adjust scope, timelines and project budget. Promote changes that give an added value to the company. Ensure clear communication with all departments (also non-operational) and stakeholders. Participate in the definition with marketing and sales about the internal strategy for the commercial products. Define the priority on the projects within OPM scope which can ensure product continuity and increase value added. Evaluate all decisions taking into account cost, quality and timelines and implement it in the most efficient and pragmatic way.
Performance Management: Set performance targets for the team. Regularly monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve skills and achieve goals.
Communication: Ensure transparent and clear communication across the company. Maintain and revise regular update meetings with SLT to review progress on projects, launches, and decisions made or required.
Technology and Tools: Implement project management tools and visibility across the company.
Requisitos Bachelor's degree in life science or others, preferable within Chemistry or Pharmacy. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management. Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
